Iowa Traction RR
The Iowa Traction Railroad is the last "for revenue" railroad in operation in the upper midwest. The line runs from Mason City to Clear Lake, Iowa along Highway 18. The line interchanges at Clear lake. The line services several industries in Mason City, and runs "on demand." I have never been lucky enough to visit the area when the motors are operating. On this winter day Motors 51 and 54 were parked in Mason City.
