ATSF 3759
Kingman, Arizona is the home of ATSF 3759.  3759 was built by Baldwin Locomotive works.  Her last run was made from Los Angeles Union Station to Barstow, California over Cajon Pass on February 6, 1955.  She was retired and given to the City of Kingman shortly thereafter. She resides with her tender and a caboose in the park across from the restored power house along Andy Devine, "Old Historic Route 66," in downtown Kingman.  We visited her often while we lived in Kingman.  Her last run over Cajon Pass was memorialized by a Long Playing Record Album called "Farewell to Steam, and by a Video Rails production VHS cassette called "3751, Last Run Over Cajon Pass."

A sister engine, the 3751, was restored to steam in 1991 by the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society.  On one of her first trips east of Barstow, California, the 3751 was parked across from the 3759 on the Santa Fe main line.  If anyone has a picture of the two engines parked side by side, I would sure appreciate being able to obtain a copy!
