Denver & Rio Grande 278
278 has been cosmetically restored and placed on static display on a trestle in the middle of the river where it is safe from vandals.   We found the 278 on display along the north side of State Highway 50 at Cimmaron, in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, on the same motorcycle trip that we discovered the 268.  What a beautiful setting for an outside display!
